It's well known that Qualcomm's (NASDAQ:QCOM) Snapdragon X16 modem is already capable of gigabit download speeds and is incorporated into the Snapdragon 835 system on chip (SOC) used in the Samsung (OTC:SSNLF) Galaxy S8.
